Mt. Blaise

A volcano which is said to be the site of the legendary shape-shifter Blaise's death. It was once known as Mt. Ember before then. There is a grave marked halfway up to show her death place, but it is said she never really died, but lives on. This volcano is still active, and occasionally spews lava, but there have been no major eruptions for years.

Felis

The capital of Solaria is situated on the southern coast, a large port town that deals with trading. It is very crowded, despite its large size. The most prominent feature of this town is a large castle, home to the royal family.

Royal Castle

A large stone castle home to the Solarian royal family. Few are allowed in here, and the penalty for sneaking in can be harsh- but some do it anyway, just to see what it's like. The Lapis Lazuli Stone Vault is situated here too, with the entrance hidden in the castle grounds.

Guard's Base

The guard's base. A large stone building, it can easily house fifty guards, plus another twenty trainees. It's next door to the royal castle.

Researcher's Base

A large stone building makes up the researcher base in Felis. It's set on the outskirts of the town, just inside the walls.

Healer's Base

Another large stone building makes up the healer base in Felis. It's set near to the royal castle, well within the town walls.

Town Centre

The centre of the town where a lot of entertainment is held daily.

Town Walls

The outskirts of the town is surrounded by tall stone walls, through which the only entry is through heavy gates. Guards patrol these walls regularly to prevent enemies from getting in, and anyone coming in or out the city is checked carefully by guards keeping watch.

Solar Forest

A large forest that surrounds the road leading north from Felis to Papio, and onwards to the pathway up into Gaia. Here is home to many wild animals, ranging from wolves and bears to gryphons and even dragons.

Papio

A small town half-way between Solaria and Gaia, it acts as a rest stop for those on the way between the two locations.

Gaia Town

The town of Gaia is small, but rapidly growing. At the centre of the town is a large memorial dedicated to two tragic fires, each of which killed half of the population, just a hundred years apart from each other.

Royal Palace

A beautiful palace surrounded by cherry trees, this is the home of the Gaian royal family. Representatives and spies also live here, and this is where the Obsidian Stone Vault entrance is hidden. Anyone is allowed in the palace grounds, but only those invited can enter the palace itself.

Guard Base

Gaia's guards live in a comfortable building built close to the town gate, to provide the best protection to the town possible.

Researcher's Base

The researcher base is set next to the guard's base.

Healer's Base

The healer's base is the only base set near the palace. It is actually within the palace grounds though there is a separate path leading to it.

Gaian Memorial

The centre of the town is a massive memorial to the people who died in two fires that were just a century apart. Both fires were caused by the same people who used both Amber and Obsidian, and each time half the town died.

Town Walls

The outskirts of Gaia is surrounded by large stone walls, with the only known entrance being a large wooden gate. Unbeknownst to most there is a hidden entrance within the palace grounds, to be used as an emergency escape route during trouble, but only the royal family and heads know of it at present. Unlike most places, Gaia is not patrolled by shape-shifter guards. Instead, a giant, three-headed firebreathing hellhound keeps watch. This hellhound is centuries old, and belonged to a Lunarian named Ryan. When Ryan drowned in the Lunarian floods, the Gaian representative at the time, Lily, took on the hellhound, named Nukpana, and eventually he chose to live in Gaia and protect it. He has no known master and obeys no one.

Wolf Lake

A large lake near to the town. In the centre of the lake there is an island, and on that island is a tree house with several ancient carvings in. Mysteriously, these carvings seem to represent the shape-shifters of legend, and depict scenes from those legends- but they have been dated by researchers as being centuries older than the legends. Touching this tree house is now an offence against Gaia due to the age and fragility of it, and it is guarded by a pack of wolves.
