Gaining A Stone

You will not be choosing your character's Stone, although you can choose their country. The first Stone of your character will be chosen depending on the character's personality traits, as each Stone is drawn to specific traits- it doesn't matter what country a character is in. A particularly violent character may be drawn to the Obsidian. One obsessed with healing is more Tiger's Eye. A peaceful character may get the Moonstone.

However, the second Stone will depend on your character's actions up until that point. To apply for a second Stone, your character must first have been in five threads, and must have mastered the first Stone, which is done through attending Stone Classes which will be put up in each country from time to time. Then, you must fill in the given form, at the bottom, listing at least five threads which portray reactions to situations.
